Kennedy Street Easton, MD. 21601 Dr. Ellen Into PhD (1933-2017) painted all her life, raised in a family of creatives going back four generations. She earned her doctorate in psychology in the 1960s, started a private practice, became a real estate broker in San Francisco in the 1980s, and became a professional artist, opening her own gallery, where she excelled at all three practices simultaneously. She studied painting at the Paier School of Art, The Hartford Art School, San Francisco Art Institute, The Museum School, Fort Mason Art Center, & De Young Museum. She was a very prolific artist, creating hundreds of large vibrant oil paintings on canvas. Her experience as a psychologist produced some very interesting portraits. Her paintings have been exhibited in San Francisco, in her studio at Hunters Point Shipyard, Fort Mason Art Center, The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The San Francisco Main Library, 600 Townsend, & her 24th street studio gallery in Noe Valley. She also exhibited at The Atelier Eleven Gallery. Her work is in many private collections and corporate offices. Her most beloved pieces remain in her family's collections.
